Hi Mandy,
We use an engrave speed of 400 and a power of 35-40 % but we always cover the glass with wet paper as this works like a heatsink.
Give it a try and you will see the difference.

Just a quick one ..... Did you know on lasercut if you set the line you wish to cut then go to cut options(where you set the speed/power). Then click on the box with three dots... You open a new page with the option of dash line,so you can tell the machine to cut for 2mm ans not cut for.2mm all adju...

Hi We use strips of steel 5mm thick 50mm wide and place these on the wood,

Hi Please try to do the dims in a different layer and colour and dont output them in lasercut this may work.
I have used 2d without any problems but not used dimension lines...

Hi Just to let you know chris is importing a .75mm equiv of Rowmark and it works !!!!
At £7.00 per 4 x 2 its a 1/4 the price another worth knowing about also he has 1.5mm laminate at 15.00 ish.
Worth a try.
