Hi All
Just been having a mooch online, and have come across some vids of people using Laser Foil (metal colour foils) that you stick on, cut out then peel off the bits you dont want. Anyone know where I can get some of this to try?
Thanks
Louise

Upgrading Machine
Hi again So..... I currently have the 3020 and I am looking to upgrade to a bigger machine. Things I want to be able to do other than cut ply and acrylic which I do now: Engrave metal pet tags and engrave on glass and on cylindrical objects. I'm looking at the 3040, 3050 or at a push size wise the 3...

Re: Upgrade?
Thank you for the replies. We are busy already making craft shapes, let's hope we sell enough to afford a bigger machine

Upgrade?
Just for future reference: Is it possible to put a more powerful tube in my 3020 - bigger than the 35w in it at the moment? Is it also possible to upgrade the software from Newlydraw? Or would it make more sense to upgrade to a different model (although the cost of doing this is a factor) Thanks Lou...

Re: Daft Newbie Question
Hi. Thanks for your replies. Really useful. Having read spookys post I have narrowed the options to either a bigger Hailea (do you know what size you get as standard with the 3020) or something along the lines of the following http://www.workshopping.co.uk/product/draper-230v-11kw-oil-free-air-compr...

Daft Newbie Question
Ok a daft question, but am I right in thinking that the small air compressor that came with the 3020 is for blowing air through the machine to help vent the fumes out? Is it worth buying a slightly better compressor with a trap (like this one http://www.airbrushsupplyonline.com/compressors/mini-airb...

Re: Hi from Staffordshire
We hadn't actually unscrewed it before - only took it out last night when we noticed the crack (only run the machine for less than 10 hours at moment). Have spoken to Simon at HPC who seemed surprised that it had happened - just waiting to order a new one. Want to get back to cutting again - really ...

Hi from Staffordshire
Hi everyone. A quick hello. We live on a narrowboat in Staffs, and have another boat as our craft workshop where we run the 3020. We are using a large black bin filled with 40 ltrs of water, and we are lucky to be able to vent straight outside as we have no neighbours to annoy :-) Had our 3020 deliv...
