Re: Last minute nerves
Hi Tim I bought an LS3020 from them almost 2 years ago now. I drove down from Scotland and picked it up myself. The people at HPC are great to deal with and make you very welcome. As soon as I get the money together to buy the same laser that you are purchasing I will be straight back down to them w...

Re: Cutting 3mm perspex
Hi Richard. I use the 3020 I have had it for about 18 months now. I cut 3mm perspex most of the time with no problems (touch wood) I set my amps at 4 and a speed of 5 with great results. This might be a bit slow for you but most of time i am not in a hurry. Like in an earlier post save on power and ...

Hi Dave
Thanks for the quick reply.
I will try the things that you have suggested and see how it goes. This is a one off project for a friend don't think I will be doing many more of them LOL.
Cheers Jim

Cutting Mahogany ply
Hi.
I have a LS 3020 and I am trying to cut 5 mm Mahogany ply with it but the surface of the ply keeps burning.
Dose anyone else use this type of ply ? if so what settings are you using. ie AMPS ,SPEED, POWER.
Maybe I am asking to much from this machine to cut this.

engrave line
Hi their When I first used my LS 3020 the first thing it made was the laser height adjustment tool. Once the tool had been engraved the laser went round all the letters outline giving it a nice sharp edge. Can anyone tell me how to set this up to do the outline after engraving as I cannot find any r...
