Do you think its worth just formatting the Laptop i have and starting again with a fresh win7 install to see if i can get the USB to work again?

The file field is blank. Under that speed and power are all 100% PIECES 001 DEL If i go to dell i cannot get any further and pressing entre on DEL does not do anything. I am using a 32Gig stick but iv used windows to formatt it down to 512MB, Will i need a native 512 MB stick to get this to work? Th...

LS6840 cannot get it to accept a MOL file

Can anyone help with the following. About a year ago my cutter stopped working via USB cable with the error "communication is broken for timeout" Now i tried for ages to get this working. Disabled USB power management the works. I did find a work around. This was to put my image into laser...

Well that worked Tom. Managed to cut a simple set of designs from a 1Gig USB stick.

At least I have a working machine still and can keep cutting my stuff. You have my gratitude and thanks.

Must be summit up with both my machines and the drives since neither of them detect the EZ-USB device.

The machine does have a USB port.

Can I just put a DFX file on a flash drive or does it need to be some other format?

Is there a way to get a file directly onto the machine via USB and without connecting via my PC or Laptop?

Just wondering if the USB port on the machine is broken or summit.

Iv turned off power saving and I'm still getting the same error.

I'm not at work till late tomorrow so I think ill ring HPC in the morning.

Sorry about that. Iv tried connecting the device to my PC and a laptop. Same error.

Ill take a look at whats in the hardware manager when i get home.

When I just cut acrylic I leave the protective coating on and just cut through it. If im engraving I just paint (or airbrush for a fine even cost) the acrylic with washing up liquid. If you leave the white plastic on it you seem to get a white residue off it that melts onto the engraving when doing ...
