Engraving pine
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help, I’ve been asked to engrave on a round bit of pine. I’ve never used pine, it’s usually ply or other woods. I did a little test on a bit of pine I had and it’s left lines which looks like the grain in the wood. Does this normally happen with pine? I grabbed so...

Re: mould in the water tubes!
Thanks guys,
That's cheered me up .
I've got some of the granules , from when we set up the kids pool last year.
So this is OK then to put in the chiller?
Thanks again so much for your advice its such a relief.

Basically its not connected to any water supply , so its in the pipes under the bed and at the back which connects to the laser tube. I think what I just want to clarify is am I OK to take these tubes off to try and...

Re: mould in the water tubes!
Hi,
I have a 3060 with a 40 watt tube.
Its the water hoses/pipes that have the mould in certain parts not the laser glass tube itself. Sorry I'm a nervous newbie that doesn't no what to call them! I just didnt want to run it and bits then get into the glass tube for then this to cause problems.

mould in the water tubes!
Ok I feel really stupid asking but can mould be removed from the water tubes? if so what's best to use? I had my laser installed in march, the chiller was delayed so it was set up using the container they supply. To cut a long story short I've finally got round to getting started but noticed where t...

Re: Self Inking Rubber Stamps
Sorry Tim,
I've tried looking but can't find them either.
I did see a guy on a you tube video making his rubber stamp on a laser and stuck it on a self inking unit.
As you can get different stamps maybe they peel off in which case you could do one + put Velcro on it, just an idea.

Thanks for the info guys , just getting my head round how to do things as not got my laser yet and never used one before.
Can't wait to get started when it comes and it sounds simple to do which is good.
