You are right I have replaced both wires from before before the chain and now my pointer works perfectly. Was a little nervous cutting the wires incase I screwed it up lol. Thank you for your reply is yours working now too?

One is red the other is black so that bit was OK lol

Hi hope I've done this right. My laser pointer started playing up. As it moved across the bed it would go on and off. Now it stays off. I cut a bit of wire off tested it and it worked. I went to connect it up again and thought I would double check it was working and it didn't now pointer won't work ...

Thats ok then, I just wanted to check i wasnt not doing something i should be. Also if i want a deeper engraving do i alter the scan gap or power too. Thank you again

Thank you for all your help sorry it took so long for me to respond, i raised the acrylic from the bead 6mm and the splashback is so much better im really happy with the effect. Can i ask if i change my power and speed settings in laser draw i dont need to change the settings on the laser machine do...

Thats a good idea i will give it a go later and let you know how i get on thank you so much. Can i ask what settings you use to cut 3mm acrylic? Thanks again

Thank you for getting back to me. What sort of spacers do you use? Could i sit another 3mm acrylic underneath.i really appreciate all the advice

Hi, im using an ls3060 with 60w tube. Ive managed to sort my engraving issue which was due to wrong focus. So one problem solved but im having issues cutting ive reduced power to 25 speed is 12 but im getting chipped edges on acrylic. Please could anyone help with what im doing wrong thankyou
