Thanks Dave. The 3020 has developed a fault and won't fire even after a new tube. We spoke to HPC and they tried to help but we are thinking it's a good excuse to upgrade a bit. Thanks for the info. The 3020 is using Lasercut 5.3 so we are familiar with the software. It certainly took us a while to get the hang of it. Looks like we will go with the 3060. Thanks

I have a LS3020 and this is our first experience of having it in very cold weather. We have it outside in a shed and I'm worried about the water freezing in the tube. Is it ok to put anti freeze in the water or is that a bad idea?

Thanks very much for your help. I'm using 4 mm Oak veneer. You could well be right about the wood as it doesn't look as good as my last batch. The optics have all been cleaned but will check them again.
It's quite a relief that we may be ok with the tube for a bit longer.
