The spacers would only help with the top sheet . Hi Katie, don't know if this will help but this is what I use for making miniature fretwork panels (12th scale). I have two acrylic rectangles with the middles cut out so they are essentially frames. I have a 3040 machine and recently had a visit from Phil at HPC for a service. One of the best bits of advice I had about realignment, and something that is so simple and yet I hadn't thought of it, is to move the gantry to the left (closest to the tube firing end :) ), get the red dot in the middle...
