Hi Rebecca,
All the power on the 3020 is set on the ammeter,
The power settings box doesnt affect the machine, only the speed.

Hi Ive recenyly bought some 3mm rubber that is laserable from Chris at HPC it does not get sticky when engraved.
It also doesnt smell as bad and stamps well if you use the grade engrave option on lasercut.This tapers the edge to the letter giving straight edges when stamped.

Hi The 3020 settings in the engrave window can be set by you the reset xy is machine datums dont cut from here always click to x,y button.set these to suit yoiur machine. a friend of mine steve has one we set it at -60 and 0 to get the position.

Hi Trevor we have had a hpc machine for nearly three years we work with pc based machines using dxf and plt files and have never suffered problems with the software it is good to work with and the unite lines option in tools reduces the file size. we recently started running an intel mac machine and...

Hi sometimes I have issues from dxfs with lettering when it misses parts however we get round this by sending as aplt file and all is well

Hi Spooky, You can also turn the laser test power down in the keypad so its around 70% this makes it more accurate, Also trying with clear acrylic works. The last mirror is a pain as this is the one that can give double lines or angled cuts remember to adjust the opposite as it goes through the lens...

when you go to the download box click on export file this will then allow you to drop the file in the memory stick .
Plasse in usb slot and youre away

Yes they can cut tufnol but it stinks and the finish depends on the grade of tufnol.
Accuracy would not be a problem you may need to start on the 3040 or 3060 power with air assist.
Send HPC some bits they will normally sample....
