only times i've seen the machine not take a file is memory full or flash drive too big but if
you have been using the same flash drive then it should be ok
Try and get it back on a computer and see if that works

Have you deleted all the old files off the machine

I've seen pic's on laminate though photograv. white on black laminate
the settings have to be spot on
but not done it myself

not the best explanation but it's the best i can do on a Saturday night

When you use one colour say black and you have three squares inside each other it will engrave miss engrave /on off on

make sure it's all one colour ie square black and letters black

Have you checked the fuse in the machine
old machines had a small barrel that says fuse new ones the fuse is where you plug mains power in there is a small fuse pic
in the molding

Sounds like it's new tube time to me
