is it possible that the X and Y axis are not perpendicular to each other? that would account for correct size vs out of square, and it would of course be more noticeable on larger items... Not sure if this helps but...

With inkcape, when you export the dxf file make sure the export units are mm and not pixels or inches... this bit me a few times before I realised....

Does keeping the chiller running stop freezing? (sorry if this is a stooooopid question :? )

I have the antifreeze in mine... But always turn the chiller off.... Never considered it would be advantageous to keep it running.... :?

The BOFA, delivered from HPC was a touch under £1600 from memory... It was a big jump after investing in the laser... But it made sense to me as I did not want to annoy my usually friendly neighbours with the smell of burnt wood and cut acrylic....
