Hi from Hebden Bridge

Post by Minihack »

Just a quick hello and glad to be on the forums (thanks Graham). Had good experiences so far with my 6840 and will be asking for a bit of advice too on materials and stuff. Things cutting so far: acrylics, card, engraving leather (stinky!). Looking at moving into wood though too.....
My area of geekery: computer stuff: making them, modifying them.

And belated thanks to Chris for supplying a 6840 that I can operate from a wheelchair.

Hi Endcan,

Here's an example of a computer design of mine:

This recycles some parts from an old Mac Cube and then adds new motherboard support, back panel, front panel, inner trim and then hard drive support all custom cut from acrylic of different thicknesses and made to fit standard PC hardware. It can then be used horizontally as shown above or.....:

Shoved into a genuine old Mac Cube case with the top cut off.

Be interested to see some of your work too.
