Hi,
I am new to laser cutting, I bought a machine LS3040 off and auction site that needed a new tube, I bought the new tube from HPC directly
I have fitted the new tube and performed laser alignment, my laser output is in the shape of a doughnut directly from the laser tube
and it also looks like when the laser fires it hits part of the tube, any help you be greatly appreciated as
I have spent days on this trying to get it working properly.

Hi -the doughnut shape is normal, the lens focuses the beam!
You have a bubble in the input end of the tube - that won't help and may have overheated the tube.
Give HPC a call tomorrow and point them to the video - I have not seen the issue with the negative electrode!
Best
