Diameter of laser?
Hi, is there a way of making the laser a smaller diameter? I have been cutting 3mm ply recently, and the cut line is very wide. I set the gap from laser to ply as 78mm using the gauge that came with the machine. I have a 3060 with a 60 watt tube.

Not that I know of without using different lens or beam expander but I am not sure that is possible on the smaller machines.
How large is it?
You can try doing a ramp test to perfect the focus on the machine which may help.
Also make sure the lens is right way up for the focus tool (cupped surface up normally)
