New computer
Hi,
I am hoping someone can help me.
I got a new computer with Windows 10. I have tried installing my laser software and all things appear to run smoothly until I come to use the laser.
Every time I attempt to engrave the laser flashes up: 'Soft Stop'.
I don't know if it is Windows 10 that is the problem or it is my installation ??????
My laser is a LS3060

Hi Alison
Softstop means it's trying to go off the bed
have you tried something small in the middle of the bed

Re: New computer
Hi Tom,
The size of the pic I want to engrave is 22mm x 20mm.
I really do not understand where I am going wrong.
Could it be that I have messed up installing the software?

Re: New computer
I don't think so
Are you engraving close to the edge of the bed

Or is there something off the bed that you can't see
Re: New computer
Double check the "Immediate" checkbox as well Ali
Sometimes if it's not selected and the drawing is off patch you will get the same error

Re: New computer
It is already ticked.
Could I have messed up when I loaded the software?
