Dreamstime image use

Post by nicola »

Hi, I am looking for some particular images for engraving into wood.
dreamstime.com seem to have the correct type of images.
Has anyone downloaded images from this site?
What format is it best to down load as?
They come in 72 or 300dpi priced accordingly.
They are licence free. I am going down this route as cannot find anything suitable free on the web.

Any pointers gratefully received...fairly new to this.

At this time (bizarrely) I am looking for Mushrooms (edible sort/ button mushroom) and vegetable images. To be engraved onto chopping/ canapé boards. So clear illustration type image rather than a photograph.
Any suggestions of where to get free royalty free images welcome.
Also any free cutting files that I can experiment with.

Log in over on our site and the downloads section has some free stuff for download.http://oplaser.co.uk/opsupport/ no adverts or costs or anything like that. The largest part of the users there have HPC machines and are very happy with them :)

I get a lot of my images from openclipart.org. All images can be download as vector files that are easily modified and exported from Inkscape. you have to watch out for occasional double lines... All files are free for commercial use...
