Hi I'm using the machines on off all day. Is it best to leave them switched on all day or turn them off to rest for an hour at a time. They are probably used 2-3 hours a day 1/2 hour at a time.

50/50 I would guess - turning on and off can spike the components on the boards which may not help. I doubt standing on doing nothing will do any harm or use much power but is not as safe as switching off (depending on environment).

Chiller on 24/7 and laser on until finished, switching on and off throughout the day could cause more problems than help.
