Techsoft 2D to Laser Cutter 5.3 issues

Hi there I am relatively new to using 2D Design and Laser Cutter 5.3 and learning as I go.
I have been sent a file created in 2D Design. Exported as a dxf file and then imported into Laser Cutter 5.3.
The design is of two packaging designs laid out side by side.
On opening the file in Laser Cutter 5.3 the right hand package design is missing and lines on the left hand missing from the original design.
Can anyone advice me please.

Hi Julie,
I don't have 2D design now and can't remember it well - check all the objects are on correct layers and are polylines, not hatched (although you would get a message about hatches).

Hi Julie
We used 2D Design at the school I taught in, but we found exporting for engraving to be unreliable.
We found Corel Draw a much better option, importing DXF files into it if needed - when original work done in Techsofts 2D Design Software.
