Ls6040 focus tool lost

Post by Amanda »

Hi, I have lost my focus tool that I got when I got my laser and wondered if anybody knew the size of the acrylic square that is supplied? Also The red light bracket came loose and now I am not sure whether the settings are all out as I cannot cut through 3mm ply non the setting I usually use. Help please...

Hi - it may depend on the build - 78mm or 85mm if the same as the 3060 - the focal length of the lens is 50.1mm so you can get a rough idea from the lens to the surface.

The red light should not change any of the alignments - it is really just a guide for where the laser will start cutting - more likely to be the focus.

If you get stuck call HPC or do a ramp test - should be explained on here somewhere ;)
