I bought some of the Hobarts laminate. Its awful stuff. It actually burns when cutting, giving off slight sparks, it creates a very large raised on the top and bottom, but it does engrave well. To be frank, I wish I had not bothered. I thought so what, its cheap enough!

Did you manage to get it to cut ok Daven?

Oh, their plastic is good stuff, its all perspex, and they have a lot of different shades and types. The mdf and ply is nice and cheap also.

I did - take the protective cover off and use two passes at a slowish speed ;-)

Hi FYI the laser laminatesc are now in stock as are the laser foils in 5m rolls,
Good stuff to apply first then engrave off saves weeding and also all metalics,
The laminates are best in gold brushrd/black and silver black . I will put some pics on next week
