15mm???

What power laser tube?

15mm is a stretch for any laser system, it will burn rather than cut

best wishes

Dunno - 100%, lowest speed and a fire extinguisher

What sort of shape and size/quantity are you looking at doing?

I've cut 10mm pine on the HPC1290 at work, 98 power and 10 speed, it was like a hot knife through butter with little charring and acceptable kerf.

I'm talking about a very dry peice of pine that had been knocking about for 6 years though ,anything new and not kiln dried wouldnt cut half as well.

Pine is a very sappy wood as well! So probably find some manky residues on the bed.

As usual, baby wipes!

I cut thin pine all the time and the cleanup is extensive, baby wipes do work well and if you reheat the residue with a hot air blower it comes off easier
