Ive got these, for trolleys:

Why use a pound coin, or a trolley coin, that the chances are you will leave in there, drop it in a puddle etc. With these, you don't even need to remove them from the key fob. I used them to unlock a whole row of trolleys, one at a time! Obviously, I have just started selling these, and doubt I will sell many on my website!

Hi I thought I'd share a 'nearly finished' project with you all (and enter the competition). Lasers are fantastic at this sort of thing! Hope Ellie likes trains? This is a working 3-arm semaphore sign in G-Scale (Garden railway) and is about 350mm high (1ft in old money).

I've still to do the safety railing round the top and the ladder. I've found Mylar to be good for these really fine parts.

Image

Top half is in white plastic supplied by Chris - no idea what it is called (glues like styrene but lasers really well). Box base is in clear perspex and will be painted black later once I've checked servos are working OK. LEDs are used for lighting and miniature model aircraft servos to operate the arms.

Image

General view from rear.

Image

Close up of rear of arm showing cranks and counterweights, really easy to make these using the laser. Really difficult without!

Front close up.

Close up of underside of the base. The three servos at the bottom with the electronics at the top.

Now to play some more trains....
