Software

Post by Ryddingsdale »

Hi, new user here,
We have purchased a LS 1290, and I'm after doing photo eching/engraving etc.
We use 2D design at the moment, but just wondering what you guys use?
Regards
Dale.

Hiya Dale,

Options include:

AutoCAD
Corel Draw
Photoshop,
Photograv,

The more likely ones would be PhotoGRAV and Corel to be honest, AutoCAD is really more for cutting or Vector work.

Chris sells PhotoGRAV and that really is what you will need for any serious photo etching work to convert your pictures to an etchable format (layout).

hope that helps

Best wishes

Dave
